Sequality Embedded World 2024

Visit us at OSADL hall 4-168

At Embedded World 2024 Sequality will exhibit as a partner of the OSADL booth (Hall 4-168). We will show an embedded Linux board with integration into the cloud (Toradex Torizon) and are open to all questions about the use of open source software in industrial projects. Our demo will show an embedded Linux device with Qt software on the touch display, as well as HTML5 cloud integration. Both show examples of how a user-friendly integration of the open source license views can be integrated.

We are exciting to be part of the annual Embedded World Exhibition & Conference 2024 in Nuremberg! As last year (see our blog post from 2023: https://www.sequality.at/blog/2023/sequality-embedded-world-2023/ ) we are again part of the exhibition booth of our partner OSADL. Together we share the common interest to support our clients and partners with the usage of open source technology in industry products. This year we share the following with you:
  • Sequality Toradex Torizon Custom API Demonstration: Torizon offers a many convenient features for embedded Linux users like over-the-air software-updates, cloud integration and pre-built container images for deployment. In our demonstration we show, how you can use these features in a custom environment by using the Torizon Cloud API.   • Slint for embedded Linux: We can show you our latest findings in using this technology on an i.Mx8.
  • Open Source in industry projects: We are open to discuss any of your questions concerning the usage of open source in industry products! Through the last 14 years, many of our clients have chosen to purely use open source licenses for critical industry products (automotive, medical, automation). Key topics include GPL, LGPL, written offers, Software bill of material (SBOM) and using Qt in an open source environment.
