Sequality Embedded World 2026

Visit us at hall 4 booth 4-155

At Embedded World 2026 Sequality is going to present Embedded Linux based software in hall 4 booth 4-155. We are going to present various camera streaming applications on NXP i.Mx8 embedded computer modules and are open to all questions about the use of open source software in automotive and industrial projects. Our demos demonstrate important performance factors when integrating automotive-grade Ethernet cameras in Embedded Linux Qt software. Also check out our partner booth OSADL (booth 4-168) where we we show an LGPL open source Qt6 application.

We are exciting to be part of the annual Embedded World Exhibition & Conference 2026 in Nuremberg! This year we have our more space to demonstration our Embedded Linux software solutions, and show new solutions with hardware from Ginzinger, Toradex, Phytec and Ark Vision.

Additionally, we are again part of the exhibition booth of our partner OSADL. Together we share the common interest to support our clients and partners with the usage of open source technology in industry products.

This year we share the following with you:

  • Atomic UI design with Qt and Figma: Our dual-screen automotive demonstration software shows, how perfect UI design with Qt software components can result in a seamless application.
  • Ginzinger i.Mx8 board wifi-integration with Sequality System Manager that shows a smartphone-like tight event-based integration of the built-in Wifi-chip (Panasonic PAN). The Qt application is designed to offer a Wifi user experience like on a smartphone: show a list of Wifi networks with real-time signal-strenght feedback and support for all major encryption standards.
  • Dual phyCAM-Mipi-CSI Cameras on Phytec i.Mx8 with Sequality Camera Streaming App: What are the advantages of digital Mipi-CSI-Cameras? How do they compare with Ethernet-cameras? What about Latency and CPU performance? How can you use the built-in ISP (Image Signal Processor) of the i.Mx8 for further image processing and hardware accelleration? Check out this new demo we developed in cooperation with Phytec in order to find out the answers!
  • 5 Full-HD Ethernet cameras on Toradex i.Mx8 with Sequality Camera Streaming App: The Sequality Camera Streaming App Module shows an optimal integration of an automotive-grade IP camera (ArkCam Basic Plus Mini, resolution 1280 x 960) with an Toradex Apalis i.Mx8 QuadMax. Performance figures like low video latency and low CPU load can be achieved with the usage of the hardware decoder of the i.Mx8 in combination with an optimal setup of the Embedded Linux software stack with Qt and gstreamer backend. Here you can find some more performance figures of our setup https://www.sequality.at/blog/2025/camera-video-streaming-performance-results/
  • Open Source in industry projects: We are open to discuss any of your questions concerning the usage of open source in industry products! Through the last 15 years, many of our clients have chosen to purely use open source licenses for critical industry products (automotive, medical, automation). Key topics include GPL, LGPL, written offers, Software bill of material (SBOM) and using Qt in an open source environment.

If you want to reserve a time slot at our booth, please contact me in advance: stefan.larndorfer@sequality.at Gerne können Sie mir in Deutsch eine Anfrage stellen!
